Colin McGinnis, a doctoral student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln spoke to IABC Lincoln on June 15, 2017. His topic, “How to present your social media analytics to make data-driven decisions” looks at which data to use for your brand or campaign.

Colin is pursuing a Ph.D. in educational psychology with a concentration in statistics and measurement. Specializing in social cognition, Colin focuses on how people process, store, and apply information about others and social situations, particularly in educational settings.

Colin is responsible for the development of digital content for the @UNLincoln accounts. He also oversees the data efforts for the University’s Office of Communication’s social media team.
